How do you get new colors on the Commodore 64? Pedantically... you don't. Practically requires a deep dive into pallete switching, the behavior of CRTs, and the psychology of color itself. (The article demonstrates what works and what doesn't, so it comes with a strong strobing warning!)

Nervous Musk, Trump, Vance have all been outclassed in public arguments these last few days. Government failure, stock market crash, and dictatorial alliances are not popular. People are starting to realize that there is no truth here beyond the desire for personal wealth and power. (2/2)

Tesla's stock pumps don't even last 24 hours anymore!

The big pump that kept the stock from tanking yesterday was this China market "self-driving" software update, and it's already a flop.

Tesla's market valuation is now back below $1 trillion, a level it first hit in 2021.

With anger at Musk mounting, Tesla store protests sprouting like weeds, its only new product a flop, FSD hype falling flat in China, and EU sales tanking, it's all downhill from here!

This is really extremely bad: withholding urgent public health studies because they’re not convenient for the president’s political narrative.
It's not just that officials have blocked CDC from publishing bird flu studies

Scientists were ordered to come up with studies on health risks of wildfires instead

That came as the president was criticizing the California governor's handling of fires

I think what's clear is that people like Trump, Musk, and their funders actually have such contempt for ordinary people that they are willing to act with such overconfidence, arrogance and self-indulgence. Meanwhile there's many more of us than them.
