Apparently famous russian 'traditional values' include calling for the rape of prisoners of war.

Underneath all the heroism of my people are tons of tears that have already been shed. It is hard to watch moments like this, when a Hero of Ukraine is brought home, and it is difficult to see people meeting him, kneeling by the roadside.

Why Europe has to act fast:
1. The more funding Europe gives Ukraine, the earlier the war can end with a Ukrainian victory.
2. Faster funding means less total cost.
3. It also means far less Ukrainian losses.
4. Which also cuts the reconstruction costs.
5. & safeguards democracy.

Important conversation. But the conclusion understates the case. It is not that handing Russia the huge territory that contains Ukraine’s best defenses would “not necessarily” bring peace. It is that so doing would guarantee a bloodier and longer war.

I’ll let the lawyers and the court s determine the legality is such an order, but Hegseth’s order is grotesquely immoral and extremely damaging to Americas reputation around the world.
SCOOP: For the Trump admin's Sept. 2 strike targeting 11 men on a boat suspected of ferrying drugs, SecDef Hegseth gave an order, officials say, to kill them all. When two men were still alive, orders were given to strike again, finishing them off.

Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

We just urged President Metsola to end the European Parliament’s dependence on foreign tech.

The EP runs on US hardware and Microsoft tools that put EU data at risk.

Europe already has secure alternatives, what’s missing is political will.

Time for real tech sovereignty! 🇪🇺

This is what Vovchansk looks like on the 565th day of non-stop shelling.

It is completely destroyed. For 565 days russians have been pounding it with fire. The factory lies in ruins, the schools are gone, the church no longer exists, and no homes are left standing.

These attacks have no military purpose whatsoever. They are nothing but terror and petty violence.
