#OTD in 1943, the US Court of Appeals ruled against Fred Korematsu and his case challenging the legality of Japanese incarceration. The court accepted that "military necessity" overrided personal liberties in a time of war. Still, the case will eventually reach the Supreme Court.

I'm really impressed to see so many students' essays about media and advertising point out that big brands are fooling no one with their pro-feminist stances - what about their company employees? Are they performatively feminist for sales or really progressive?

Structure within the major dust tail from the comet is clearly visible, together with two smaller jets trailing the nucleus and maybe even an anti-tail.
