The scrubs reboot is mentioned

Daughter asks "what's a scrub"

"A scrub is a guy who thinks he's fly, also known as a buster"

My wife is glaring at me.

But I was told we could trust police and long as you weren't a criminal, you'd never be in danger or have cause to worry!
Police have access to massive surveillance networks that track the public whether they are suspects or not. That means probably for every 1 officer caught using the system to harass or spy on people they have feuds with, ex's, activists, journalists, there are probably 100 more we don't know about.

Southern Ute and Diné chef and food organizer Karlos Baca had time.
Baca was asked for a recipe by a food magazine for 🦃 issue. Instead they got "three pages of activism".

Baca and others see the holiday as whitewashing the harm colonists did to indigenous people, referring to it as “Takesgiving” or “Hatesgiving.”

He fasts.

This is called “chain refoulment” and it’s illegal under both U.S. and international law. And the State Department and ICE know very well what Ghana is doing and simply don’t care.
ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Octavia Butler can be heard speaking at 15 min. mark responding to question "Are you a pessimist?" because of her books.

She starts off, "Well LOOK at us!"

She was speaking about global warming in 2000 and the tendency to look at catastrophic events separately and not connected.

The move is part of an effort to roll back the regulation of what are called "forever chemicals" because they don't break down easily in the environment.
