A movement of radical abolitionists for the freedom of political prisoners, the rights of the oppressed, the indigenous, and the downtrodden, for the advancement of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.

The third reconstruction will succeed.

I mean we barely learn about the pacific theater of world war II and we don't really learn about Japanese Imperialism. We just learn that they bombed Pearl Harbor and they were aligned with Nazi Germany and that's why we had to fight them. because digging into it reveals American Imperialism

I argue it's still "One Country, Two Systems", but Hong Kong's is ironically more rigid and brutal than the Chinese, thanks to the binding precedents of common law and the efficient ruthlessness of British-trained bureaucrats

The population living in slums in 2025 is equivalent to the population of the earth when the communist manifesto was written in the 1800s.

Generally the ones I think are the most reliable is Al-Jazeera for world news, Middle East Eye for specifically Middle East news, 404 Media for tech and US News, and Drop Site for more military-based actions and governmental news.

Langston Hughes is really great, Faulkner, Walt Whitman, Maya Angelou, Assata Shakur, Angela Davis, W.E.B DuBois is my personal favorite, he has a few poems but most of his stuff is prose.

As folks have noted in the replies, the student's mother is something of a MAGA public figure (and lawyer).

This is obviously a purposeful stunt to attack a trans graduate student, which is sick af and must be opposed on the grounds.

It is simultaneously an assault on university pedagogy.

In a world that hadn't jumped the shark, this would be immediate grounds for the university's accreditation to be placed under careful scrutiny.
