... the beggar craned his neck, looked them up and down in their fur coats, and said,

"Is it posh or whores yiz are?"

They did demolish something for this. The large building with the 3 gables and the little cupola at the top of the pic. There’s an underground car park there now. Probably not the most catastrophic loss Dublin has suffered. You can see the new hospital being built to the right of it

In fact some of the existing buildings are still being used! This plan resembles what was later built, and amazing to think the design is that old — it has aged relatively well. It’s hard to be certain as the model is a bit crude but it looks like it envisaged more destruction than took place.

Dominic Cummings, in an earlier incarnation, ran a secretly-funded 'think tank' dedicated to attacking the Beeb while Robbie Gibb glided effortlessly from GBNews to the BBC & started lecturing staff on impartiality. Imagine (cos you'll have to) how the 'left-wing' equivalent would be reported.

“access to justice” is a core right of citizens in a democracy, & a core principle of the Aarhus Convention

Why aren’t Irish media interrogating proposals to restrict the democratic rights of Irish citizens.. the very questionable evidence put forward .. & the motives of those pushing for this?

The result would be:

PAYE @ 45% = £29m
Employee NICs @ 2% = £1m
Employer NICs @ 13.8% = £9m

TOTAL: £39m

The same amount HMRC are claiming.

Gosh, what a coincidence.

I hope Catherine Connolly will do justice to the role. I’m not encouraged by her warm words for Brexit, or her association with Putin apologists.

I wanted you to do a thing on this years ago! On twitter! Glad to see it. It’s a lovely building, plain enough inside though (not unpleasant)
