The lore behind my career path? Started college as a mechanical engineer, switched to chemical engineer, hated process engineering in specialty chemicals, jumped to pharmaceuticals since I thought it'd be more stable (hahahaha! As if...) and wound up at a company where I've been the last 18 years.

Oof. While I'm glad I took that 2.5-mile walk around my neighborhood last night, I'm paying for it this morning, hobbling around the house(Achilles tendonitis). It'll get better as I walk around more today, but it's a rough way to start the day.

I got to meet @mwwaff.bsky.social's adorable new puppy Po (short for "Potato"). He's an 8-week old St. Bernard/Bernese Mt. Dog. He's gonna be ENORMOUS. Maynard (border collie) and Ranger (Malinois/GSD) seem to get along with him well, though Ranger's figuring out how to play with a small puppy.
