I’ve lived in Scotland for nearly 5 years. When I was living in Edinburgh, I’d take the train down to London on a Friday afternoon/evening to visit pals over a weekend, coming back Sunday. Everyone thought I was mad, but I grew up driving 4.5-5.5hrs visiting family over a weekend, so.
I somehow ended up on British people complaining about the world cup in the US tiktok and like ...the US is big IDK WHAT TO TELL YOU!

Recently saw a reel where an Average Joe challenged a random WNBA rookie thinking he could win only for her to turn around and beat him 11-2. She averaged 3 PPG in the league. Imagine A’ja Wilson or Caitlin Clark absolutely destroying that chump.

Funny animal videos no longer being trustworthy just fucking sucks all around. I love the wonder of animal behavior and what it says about the experience of being alive. It's because it happened in reality that it's so fun. It's not fun if it was just made up. There's no wonder there.

Revisited Hades on the Switch for the first time in a year or so. Still such a fun, addictive game. I remember seeing a trailer for Hades 2 at one point but haven’t investigated any further to see any release date.

Let's be totally clear here: not only does Substack let Nazis host their shit; they actively encourage them, sometimes paying them six figure salaries to host their shit.

Substack actively courts Nazis to their platform.

Ghost and beehiiv will actively help you move off that platform.
You know what's great about substack? Leaving it.

Some of you aren't getting the whole nazi thing. Let's simplify it. Nazis are always the villains. Substack lets nazis host their shit.

It's literally thinking some people deserve death for being born not white.

The way tech companies constantly do stuff that nobody asked for really tells you a lot about their bigger ideology. They tell themselves that you will like it over time. What they mean is you’ll learn to endure it, or you’ll give up. quality of UI is not actually anywhere on their radar
new iOS update is sleek and also defaults in Music to “you must want songs transition as they would on a dance floor.” so many people will wonder why they can’t just listen to an album. Apps > Music > Song Transitions > toggle off.

without birthright citizenship in the united states, you don't have a democracy and you don't have rule of law.

revoking birthright citizenship gives fascists free rein to purge the country of literally anyone they don't like. it opens the door to atrocities and mass murder. i am not exaggerating.
