Idk if it needs to be said but have always thought a player venting to the media is counterproductive 9 times out of 10. Only valid in extreme cases and even then there is a cost of doing so.

There are a number of reasons why Mo has been poor, age, grief, afcon - I'm not having competency on signing a new contract - but it's not beyond reason he should be dropped, and I'm grateful we have a manager confident enough to do it.

The club took a risk to regenerate the squad as much as it did all at once so really backed the remaining senior players to be as close to the top of their game as possible to minimise the risk. Instead, almost everyone's off form & the new lads are taking too long to settle. Worst of all worlds.
