I wish everyone would stop referring to people being "deported" to a Salvadoran prison. Deportation is expulsion from a country, not illegal rendition to a foreign concentration camp. And in at least Kilmar Abrego Garcia's case, there's a more accurate word for what happened: "refoulment."

There is absolutely zero need for anybody to praise Donald Trump for "making sure our borders are stronger." That is whitewashing what he is doing and reinforcing the anti-immigrant sentiment that Trump has always capitalized on.

I think the rallies are helpful, but...Sanders voted for Rubio. and he hasn't withheld unanimous consent, or tried to use procedural blocks to frustrate trump's agenda. 1
