so like. i was a trans kid. my egg cracked when i was in tenth grade, i was maybe 15. and i knew that i couldn't do anything about it until i was at least 18, and that destroyed me. grades tanked. got pulled out of extracurriculars. retreated socially. it was really fucking bad.

the thing you're really, really not getting here is that for a trans kid, cis puberty is experienced in exactly the same way and is exactly as dangerous and traumatic as the thing you were imagining where a kid is forcibly transed. that is why so many trans children die
