In Ireland we grow up learning about how in the Dark Ages pilgrims would travel here from all over Europe to read books that had been saved here while they were lost elsewhere & I think we need to get our politicians to think like this about things like Basic Income. A light for the darkening world.

Wong was born October 25, 1910 in Taishan, Guangdong. At age 9 his father brought the boy to the US, leaving Wong's mother and sister behind. He would never see them again. The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 made immigration a tricky process, and Wong was separated from his father at Angel Island.

The media clearly sees itself as an instrument of law enforcement at times like this—running police statements verbatim and pictures of suspects who haven’t been charged let alone convicted. A manhunt is a propaganda-entertainment event to let people know the law always wins. Don’t believe anything!
