This is a human rights violation no matter where it happens, where they people are from, or what they did. No decent society should tolerate it. One main goal of the criminal legal and immigration systems is to make us believe some of us are less human than others, meriting inhumane treatment.

First of all, all evidence points to this man being a loving husband and father and an ordinary person. Their demonization of him should be condemned.
But in any case, due process is a fundamental right of EVERYONE in the jurisdiction of the US, not just fathers of the year.

I think it's possible that the billionaire class is over playing its hand (something abt internal contradictions of capitalism). This clear coup by the richest man in the world, plus corporations publicly kissing the ring, really lays bare the need for radical change. We just need to fight for it.

Crazy to me that the American electorate can (rightly) throw Trump out of office for exacerbating the pandemic, and then just 4 years later vote him back in because of the inflation, which would not have happened but for the pandemic. Do they just not know how the inflation started?
