The last scene of terrifier is really the worst for someone like me who has huge birthing phobia. 😵😵im dead . Cool designs , cool storyboards, great practical effects. Not sure I would rewatch it soon, definitely wouldnt eat while watching it .

Watching the terrifier in prep for Dublin Horror Con, and let me tell you, im usually not squeamish for horror movies, but those traditional special effects sure got me to cover my eyes and go like “ noooooooo nooo NOooo” 🫣🫣🫣🫣

Once again, I would like to remind people "single-sex spaces" is not in the Equality Act and hasn't been used in official government policy like ever

EHRC completes review of evidence from government on single-sex space policies
Published: 27 August 2025

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has completed its review of evidence from the UK Government's 2024 call for input exercise on single-sex spaces and is taking regulatory action where policies misrepresent equality law.

In May 2024, the previous government launched a "call for input" seeking examples of policies that wrongly suggest people have a legal right to access single-sex spaces and services according to their self-identified gender. The government referred 404 examples to the EHRC for review.

Following its analysis, the EHRC identified policies that misrepresented the Equality Act 2010, including from organisations across the policing, education and health sectors.

The EHRC is now writing to 19 organisations asking them to review policies that contain language wrongly suggesting there is an automatic legal right to access single-sex spaces based on self-identification.

I had a lots of events recently, Dublin Comic con followed by 10 days of thomastown arts festival. It was really lovely, though a lot harder as i travelled from dublin to thomastown daily.

The new tariffs are going to hit artists particularly hard if it means losing customers in the US, so I'd ask Irish people to please consider buying local, from Irish makers, where at all possible. Support that means little to a huge business makes a massive difference to small creators. We need ye.

ℹ️ Information from An Post relevant to Irish artists selling to the US - still no clarity elsewhere about what the charges will be, time will tell.

What is the new process for sending eCommerce goods and gifts over $100 dollars to the USA and its territories?
The recipient customer in the USA must pay the taxes before the item can be delivered.

An Post now asks that for these items, the recipient email is provided as a mandatory field.

An Post International Logistics Partner will contact the USA recipient and request payment of taxes, along with an administration fee.

A time frame of 5 calendar days applies for the customer to pay.

Once paid, the eCommerce parcel will be delivered to the USA.

If not paid, the item will be returned to the sending customer.

No credit will be due to the sending customer in this instance.
