Listening to CBC News and hearing an interview with someone from the Climate Action Team, it sounds like the province of Manitoba fast tracked its Net Zero plans partially after this summer's wildfires. If that is true that is interesting to note.

How bad are tariffs going?

I paid for $32 of shaving cream from Canada. Unique stuff I’ve used for years, nothing like it in US. Small family business.

UPS guy came to my door today with box and said I have to pay additional $120 before he can hand it to me.

That makes it 5x more expensive!!! 🤯

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers will receive two global offers from Canada Post today. While we were waiting for responses to our proposals last week, Minister Lightbound moved ahead with implementing recommendations from the Kaplan Report, without proper consultation with the Canadian public.

Postal workers and the communities we serve deserve transparency and fairness. Any changes to our public postal service must be made through meaningful consultation, not unilateral action.

Our Negotiations Committees will carefully review and analyze the offers from Canada Post to determine whether they address the needs of postal workers, our families, and the public who depend on us.
