What makes airlines the most money is the bulk sale of "miles" to credit card companies — to distribute as "rewards."

Airlines' separate miles programs are typically a much more valuable asset and much higher profit center than the airline itself.

Airlines Are Just Banks Now
They make more money from mileage programs than from flying planes—and it shows.

Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

And don’t get us wrong, all the suggested changes are important and meaningful, but combined, the carbon savings of all of these are cancelled out if you fly more than a couple of times a year.

Apparently I'm doing this -- my open letter to that open latter about AI in writing and publishing. I emerged from Hibernation Week to write it, so god only knows how much sense it makes. But at least a human wrote it, so that's nice.

Bonus: picture of my "cat," sweet baby Boomba.

NYT gonna NYT: "Both Mr. Mamdani and Mr. Maduro identify as socialists, though they have no relationship.” — would be funny if they did this every time you write about two capitalists.

Bombing another country and kidnapping its leader would also be wrong with Congressional approval. The outrage, and call for impeachment, should be over the evil and illegal outcome not merely the failure to follow the prescribed process.

How are voters meant to understand how serious things are if in lieu of shouting fire AND going into building with hoses, you're simply posting fire safety suggestions on social media?
Not introducing articles of impeachment is a message that Trump hasn't committed impeachable offenses.

So evidently by current US administration standards, it would be okay if someone happened to abduct our criminal president…..

“Irony” isn’t nearly a strong enough word
Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.
