Just to clarify--I am using the most common 19th-century spelling--"crape"--for the mourning fabric. I should probably put that disclaimer in any time I use the word because many readers think that it is a misspelling. I'm all about the primary sources and try to use the terminology of the time.

Shiseido sunscreen stick. Pretty amazing for reapplication & like won’t disturb your skincare or, according to my beauty guru Michele Wang, any makeup. I don’t wear make up but I also absolutely support anyone who does. Fine, I have some concealer & I’ll use that on rough mornings. But, like, if you don’t have concealer it’s like; “baby, why do you hate yourself?”
