The British public refuse to accept that it's cheaper to provide welfare than withdraw it. Fewer benefits result in increased crime and poorer public health, requiring increased resources for the police and NHS. Prevention is cheaper than the cure, it's that fucking simple.

I couldn't agree more. The first jobs that AI should have already replaced are estate agents and solicitors. Overpaid parasites. Just paperwork middlemen/human algorithms.
How are estate agents still a thing? Charging several grand just to show someone round a property, relay messages on between two parties, and fill out some generic paperwork. Rightmove does 90% of the heavy lifting.

The main problem with our world is that the sun will burn out in about 5 billion years. We need a way to mix the unburned hydrogen into the core, so we can prolong the fusion phase. This is urgent. We probably need a solution within the next 500 million years.
