Thinking of something I believe Soulsborne Lore YouTuber @vaatividya.bsky.social said in an old video highlighting a theory of the passage of time in Dark Souls being tied to light. To see it as a concept so often being reinforced in our own cosmos is just incredible to me.

Each color shows the passage of time. As the bright flash of light left the star, it illuminated the dust surrounding it, but because space is so big, we actually see the light travelling and illuminating the dust as it goes along.
