Ashamed to say I still have yet to go to the Pocket Islington that everyone is raving about. I knew its predecessor, the Four Sisters, and its superb sibling, the Southampton Arms in next door Kentish Town, #Cask heaven. Award winning @elusivebrewing.com Oregon Trail & Arbor favourites. #BskyBeer

Today Colin Gilham and I ran a tasting of @elusivebrewing.com x @unbarredbrewery.bsky.social x Lallemand Brewing Experiments in Yeast at Two Tails Taproom. Four beers brewed with the same base recipe, but each pitched with a different yeast. It was a great deal of fun, and very interesting.

An absolute barnstormer from @elusivebrewing.com. A classic black IPA. Roasty malt and wonderful dank hoppy bitterness. The recipe’s been improved but generally why change what works.
