Cannot recommend Castration Movie 2 to anyone without a high tolerance for exploitation cinema but it also might be the funniest film I've seen all year. "Are you happy now, Circle? You have FIVE hot dogs!" has been doing loops around my brain for days.

I've gone to/held weekend meetups to watch EVOs for year and they're some of the highlights of the year for me and it was the easiest thing in the world to not do this year

I've enjoyed EVO for years, but right now it's absolutely dead to me, and I can't help side-eyeing people who can just overlook it being stained by Saudi blood money. Because, frankly, rejecting EVO is an easy decision to make. It's piss. If you can't make that decision, where is your spine?
COTW and EVO alike have shown me that there’s an awful lot of people in the FGC that don’t give a shit about how the sausage gets made, so long as they get to eat. Which would be understandable if that stance concerned a legitimate existential need, and not simply a form of entertainment.

No. It’s now pretty much co-owned by Sony and Saudi blood money. No amount of VSav is gonna make me forget that.

if nothing changes by next summer, this is the last chance for our community to push back. The big ask is not spending $2000 to go to Vegas to play video games once. I'm not expecting much but it at least feels possible because the requirement for protest is simply not doing jack shit
