The Senate bill to curb the president's tariff powers now has seven Republican co-sponsors.

The bill would make it so that the president must notify Congress of new tariffs within 48 hours.

Congress would then have to approve them within 60 days or they expire.

The president of the United States and the richest person in the world are already shutting down the government.

Why should Congress give Trump and Musk a blank check to continue their pillage?

Call your Senator: (202) 224-3121
Senate Democrats must vote against the Republican's continuing budget resolution
It's the only way to hold the Trump regime accountable. Call your senators now.

We sued the Trump administration over the removal of scientific research by private doctors from a government website.

The government cannot censor vital scientific research to advance its political agenda.
BREAKING: Physicians and ACLU sue HHS, RFK Jr. over "gender ideology" censorship in patient safety forum.
The lawsuit argues that the Trump administration violated the free speech of private citizens who had posted peer-reviewed articles on the federal government-hosted Patient Safety Network website.

If Donald Trump can override our elected officials’ control of the purse strings, we are effectively entering a period of taxation without representation.

But there is no energy emergency—the U.S. is the world’s top oil & gas producer. This is a power grab to roll back protections.

Trump signed executive orders to expand logging on public lands while bypassing environmental protections. His “energy emergency” declaration lets him override regulations entirely.

I’m sorry but this isn’t getting enough attention.

When RFK Jr. was asked about a young child who died of measles in Texas, he responded “It's not unusual. We have measles outbreaks all the time.”

This is the first Measles death in the US in 10 years.

Republican Congressman David Schweikert has introduced a bill to begin the process of letting AI prescribe drugs.

Instead of investing in the U.S. healthcare system, this bill paves the way for doctors to be replaced by AI.

The GOP’s “SAVE Act” is just another voter suppression scheme. Requiring passports or birth certificates to vote would block millions—especially women, rural voters, and low-income Americans. Don’t be fooled. This isn’t about election security—it’s about rigging the rules.

Another way of saying this is that a lot of supposed liberals and leftists bought into the propaganda that opposition to affirmative action and diversity were about merit. So, now that those subtle racist lies have reached the obviously racist endgame, they are left flatfooted because they helped.
A problem with trying to communicate to so many of potentially reachable Americans that this stuff is patently racist is you have to try to talk about it in a way that breaks thru to millions of people who’ve been conditioned to think attacking affirmative action isn’t racist, who just apply that…
