Regulation has failed.
This government imposed a Bonus Ban, but water bosses and shareholders will always find ways to reward themselves for their failures, with eye-watering payouts.

It's high time for the whole English water sector to come into public ownership.

Apparently, no one in media can get hold of anyone from Reform for comment on Nathan Gill, their dismal performance in local councils or Farage’s alleged conduct at school. They appear to be practising a technique which attempts to silence criticism by refusing to provide a right of reply.

🤑The £2.5m payout for Thames Water's executives has been paused.

That's right - not scrapped, but paused.

In fact, an even bigger payout of ‼️£13.5m ‼️is due to be made to be made across the course of 2026. 1/2
