I have two cousins with small kids in Minneapolis. They actually had Tim Walz as a high school teacher 20ish year ago. When he joined politics I asked and they told me he's always been genuinely good person.

My mom is more badass than Hegseth could ever dream of. She was in the 4th class of women at the Air Force Academy, served 22 years and led missions all over the world in the name of the open skies treaty
Pete Hegseth is the least qualified Defense Secretary we've ever had and his open contempt for women in the military is a slap in the face to those who have put their lives on the line to keep us safe.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's son was pulled over by ICE and forced to prove he is an American.
Two options:
1) ICE deliberately targeted him.
2) ICE is stopping all non-White people without any probable cause and forcing them to prove they are citizens.
Hard to say which option is scarier.

I'm curious fellow Americans, what was your first brush with gun violence, or encounter for many less privledged than I?
I was in kindergarten outside D.C. during the DC Sniper attacks. I just remember not being allowed to go outside for recess for a while.
