It's clear already that the establishment democrats are not understanding the lessons they need to take from Zohran Mamdani's win.
The lesson is not "be more bold". It's that progressive policies are what resonate with the most people. Period. That's it. That's the lesson.

The amount of excitement I've seen over Zohran is only something I can compare to the excitement I saw and felt for @sanders.senate.gov. A kind, strong, moral and empathic, tough and sensible leader who cares that EVERYONE does well, not just the upper or even middle class, is who we need.
On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park.
New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.
