A critique that people often lobby against art is that they “didn’t get it.” I think this really speaks to the current stage of media literacy in our culture. It’s not a requirement of art that you get it. How did it make you feel? Maybe you could understand if you thought about it more

SO MANY of her actions don’t just tell us, but shout at us that Cait feels guilty and remorseful for what she has done but still some people seem to (purposefully) misinterpret these actions or ignore them as if betraying a strong warlord isn’t a huge deal.

I would genuinely love for people in general begin to see the value that animated shows have. As much as animation and live action both need artists and a huge amount of people behind them, animation to the level Arcane/Fortiche did, simply should be heads and shoulders above
