There should be a law that when you close a program on your computer it should be completely closed without any remaining process that has to be manually killed via task manager.

Maybe it's because of only eight episodes per season. They crammed all the character development into eight season one episodes, and now they don't know what else to do but reverse, ignore or repeat it.

How did the writing get so bad ?
The last season of The Boys was already disappointing but this is another level of deterioration.
Every character got stupider.
The viewer is also presumed stupider with predictable twists and clumsy infodumps.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

Humans have practiced ritual cannibalism for millenia.
Christians are supposed to symbolically drink the blood and eat the flesh of their Saviour once a week (in Catholicism the wafer and wine literally magically turn into blood and flesh).

we spent thousands of years breeding dogs to like humans and collaborate with us - we have more of a “begrudging standoff between equals” thing going on with pigs

However to be fair dogs eat humans way more than most people know or want to know

OK, it's associated with autism symptoms. If a child spends more time with a screen than socializing, it may be more awkward or introverted.
Those are only symptoms though. Superficially, they might display some stereotypically autistic traits, but that's not really autism. Autism is mostly genetic.

Trump 1 definitely, but I'm not so sure about his second term. His dementia seems far more prominent than Biden towards the end. Instead of Fox News he's now watching AI slop all day and has lost all grasp on reality. His advisors are effectively President. First it was Musk's turn, now it's Miller.
