Convinced that most British people want to live in a functioning, decent country where government improves stuff and everyone can thrive.

I didn’t vote Labour in the last general election. I was gutted when they got in. I was however, slightly buoyed by Starmer’s initial speech outside no.10 I thought, ‘it’s not going to be that bad after all…’ 🤢🤢🤢🥴

I was lucky enough to volunteer at the joint Deal and Dover Repair Café yesterday. What a stunning venue! It was a little poorly lit for detailed work but I managed to repair a set of fairy lights and to remove a melted dinosaur from a toaster! This was in the newly restored Maison Dieu in Dover.
