Did an Icelandic bind off for the neck. Ignore the fact that I still didn't close the underarm.

The body is a little long... Even with a tighter gauge. Idk if I should attempt surgery given it seems that's how the style is supposed to sit.

I hate how weak willed I am. I went to this weaving shop to pick up my goodie bag for this workshop I had to miss because I was sick. Why did I leave with a skein because it caught my eye 🙈

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs less to house people.

I have a few days to pick yarn for an airport project. Ooof the pressure is on. And I'm already shopping around for my next sweater. Thinking of doing a sequined lace sweater by James N Watts for pride.

I got to leave work early so I finished the yoke! I have to do my neck short rows, a neck band depending how I feel, underarm stitch cast off and remove the provisional yarn on my cast on.

I feel like I'll look like a grade school teacher (and not mad).

Already in the middle of the audiobook Sociopath: A Memoir by Patric Gagne, PhD.

I'm so fascinated by psychology and it's even more interesting to get a firsthand account of someone sharing their thought process and experience. #booksky 📚

First time having to manage 3 yarns in one row. I think I'm getting the hang of it. I cannot imagine 4 or 5 or 6!

Add to the list of spineless, opportunistic businesses to stop supporting. We called it a very long time ago about their conditional support. They want your dollars but could not care less if your rights and livelihood are at stake. #pride 🏳️‍🌈 #SanFrancisco #SF

Here's a progress pic of my #TerraSweater (Annika Konttaniemi) from Icelandic Knits. Currently 5 rows into the yoke. And I still have to do a three needle bind off for the underarm stitches.

I know that oftentimes we really are at the whims of income coming in to sustain ourselves. But I'd love these administrators in writing or on camera explaining what the problem is. I'd want them to come into my classroom and take it down because I'd refuse unless they provide reasoning.
A teacher in Idaho has been told to remove posters reading "Everyone is welcome here" - specifically because it features different skin tones. As I wrote last week, this is a global political movement that has explicitly set the goal of eradicating the very concept of equality.

I hope they lose every penny on this lawsuit. It's petulant and on the level of throwing a temper tantrum because things didn't go the way you wanted.

Doing some archival research on the 1978 San Francisco downzoning for my book, and it's striking how many people were warning at the time that tighter zoning controls could ultimately end up pricing working class and middle class people out of the city.
