Retired attorney. Just argue for fun now.
JD Vance is an unprincipled chameleon. He will change his colors depending on whatever empowers his ambitions at the moment. He’s a liar who will never be elected president. That he can make statements about Renee Good’s murder that are contradicted by the video evidence is just one example.

Great fucking comments by the mayor of Minneapolis on the murder of a woman by ICE. The victim was driving away when she was shot. There was absolutely NO justification for the use of deadly force.

But the mayor cautioned against actions that would give ICE an excuse to deploy even more of them.

Niners beat Bears in a nail biter. Great game. I can breathe now.

Niners and Bears: both offenses are really dominating the defenses.

Purdy’s touchdown pass was almost past the line of scrimmage.

I’m grateful that the 60 Minutes CECOT story was posted for the public to see. It’s clear that “the worst of the worst” are officials in the Trump administration and not the migrants who were deported.

The 60 Minutes censorship was the last straw for me. I just canceled the recording of anything related to CBS news and I won't watch any live programming from CBS news.

In WWII, a German fighter pilot escorted a badly damaged American bomber to safety after the bomber had just completed an attack on Bremen. The German pilot risked severe punishment to do this. The two pilots became friends after the war.

Luftwaffe Bf 109 Pilot Who Escorted a Damaged B-17 and Later Befriended Its Pilot
The skies over Europe during World War II were filled with battles between Allied bombers and German fighters. The United States relied on heavy bombers like the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress to strike ...

Tom Cotton’s very predictable comment. He’s a weird, humorless man. The only colorful thing about him is his red sweater.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), to reporters, after viewing video footage of the U.S. strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean on Sept. 2:

"Righteous strikes." "Entirely lawful."

Bench Brock Purdy and put in Mac Jones. Purdy has thrown three interceptions in the first half.

No need for Republicans to do away with the filibuster if Senate Democrats fold like a napkin on reopening the government and get nothing concrete in return. I keep getting requests for contributions from the DSCC, but if they cave, no contributions from me.

John Roberts salient question about who actually pays the tariffs was never answered adequately by Trump’s attorney. We all know that consumers in the U.S. pay the tariffs.
November 5, 2025 at 3:45 PM
John Sauer, Trump’s attorney arguing in support of the tariffs before the Supreme Court, has had too much caffeine this morning. He’s speaking so fast he should get a job reading the exclusions at the end of a commercial.

Unfortunately, most self-titled journalists today prioritize access over hard-knuckle reporting. The mainstream press allows politicians to make up facts or evade the subject without pursuing tough follow-up questions. George Stephanopoulos was the rare exception recently in pressing JD Vance.

A requirement of ICE Gestapo is to be overweight and out of shape.
ICE attempted
and failed to disappear a food delivery guy.
It needed to be scored.

Above the entrance to the courthouse in the Eastern District of Virginia is a frieze showing the tortoise and the hare and the inscription “Justice delayed justice denied.” Comey should insist on his right to a speedy trial.
September 26, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Mounting a defense to an indictment, even if the prosecution is frivolous, is expensive. If there were a way of contributing to Comey’s defense, I’d do that.

If you’re going to throw a sandwich at a cop, try a tuna sandwich on white bread. It’s very soft and unlikely to result in a felony charge. Don’t use a baguette.

Don’t reward a country and its leader who’ve committed numerous war crimes, the first occurring the day Russia began an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Russia must GTFO of Ukraine.
