Twin Cities based actor. 2016 elections activated me on Twitter. Went there to listen to/amplify the heart of the Democratic Party, Black Women. Guess this is the next evolution. (He/Him/His)

So, yeah, don't wait for ICE to make the first move. Get connected. Get talking. Have a block party or something. It would be worth it even if ICE never came to your town.

I am Graham Platner's age. I too was in the post 9/11 military. I also grew up in a small town in the Northeast US. I am also a college dropout with PTSD. And I am telling you: anyone from my demographic who had a Nazi tattoo for 15 years is either a Nazi or too dumb to be an effective US senator.

The next Democratic President needs to make every speech they give into full tilt belt-tightening austerity rhetoric while at the same time continuing Biden-esque monetary policy, I guarantee you the voters are too stupid to notice.

For the record, my solution is that you need to get trickier about helping the American people. If you try to openly help them like Biden did they'll go feral and bite your face off like a schizophrenic raccoon. This country must be gaslit into progress every step of the way.

They have the equation exactly backwards.
In a democracy it is the voter who has the responsibility to determine the overall balance of power.
That's the whole point.
The individual politician isn't a waiter bringing you an ice cream sundae for your birthday + it must be JUST SO or you send it back.

I really do feel like, since 2016, there has been a project underway to disqualify and clear out the most effective Democrats who are capable of creating broad coalitions. And it’s immaterial whether it originates from the left or from the right, because the results are the same.

On the surface, it really seems like there are people prioritizing knocking out effective Democrats over doing everything possible to make sure we are in as strong a position as possible going into midterms.

I can’t help but note how much smoke they have for highly effective legislators in the Democratic Party. Especially, the more power they have.

Jesus Christ, of course they bought Miller’s story rather than just listen to MVP.

oh man remember when we needed a whole secret Facebook group to even express that the first woman President would be a cool thing without getting death threats on-line?
