Rubio is telling all diplomats that telework and remote work are over by mid-2025. I’d be nervous to be any federal remote worker right now.

The denial of Gisèle’s humanity by her rapists is the denial of violence done to every woman. At her side, we can now look the world in the eye I am looking at a colour photo of a woman with auburn hair entering the courthouse in Avignon. Around her, the…

Remember when Lina Khan blocked the Kroger/Albertsons merger, which would've sent grocery prices skyrocketing?

Trump’s new FTC pick vowed to end the “war on mergers.”

And wouldn’t you know it, Trump is now walking back his promise to lower grocery prices.

Funny how that works.

cc: everyone who sends patients to the ED because they have a high BP reading. Bonus points if it’s from an appt for a procedure the patient is probably worried about or held meds for

The best part about my OT shifts is that I actually get a quiet 30 minute lunch break outside of my workspace. I never ever get this on my regular working days.

The Medicare Advantage program is a stealth attempt to privatize Medicare and enrich the private insurance industry at the expense of seniors.

Multimillionaire CMS nominee Mehmet Oz, who owns stock in private insurers, is one of the biggest proponents of this scheme.
Dr. Oz and the Stealth Destruction of Medicare
The TV doctor’s scams and fake cures are the least of what makes him so dangerous as Trump’s appointee to head Medicare and Medicaid.

Another reason Medicare Advantage (and the private insurers behind it) are bad. MA companies - private insurers contracted to provide healthcare for Medicare enrollees - are chasing veterans, even offering cash rebates, bc they make billions per year in profit off the federal government (taxpayers!)

Had a bad day at work so I got Taco Bell on the way home despite being in a “we have food at home!!!” budget period of my life. Got home and my order was wrong. I love it when the universe makes sure I regret not sticking to my plans. 🧘‍♀️

I truly think GLP-1 agonists are the most impactful drug development in recent history due to their ability to prevent/reverse chronic disease. This includes the well known benefits but also slowing progression of CKD, decreasing M&M in CHF, etc.
I don’t want to quote dunk on that person, but GLP-1ra drugs are so effective that the FDA is literally allowing compounding pharmacies to defy patent law because so many people can benefit from them and can’t get them due to low supply

NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.
