I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

Trump’s FBI Raid of John Bolton’s Home Looks Like a “Five Alarm Fire”
Thus far little is known about Friday’s law enforcement action against a top Trump critic. But we’re seeing an escalation of authoritarian power on many fronts that has grown unmistakable.

I am thinking of starting a business where you can take your degree from an evil and corrupt university and swap it for a degree from a regular school??
columbia asked me to do some anti-DEI shit, so i resigned ✌️

can't afford to live in NYC anymore, so brett and i are moving into my brother's basement in minnesota.

we're now a no-income household (well, there's some freelancing, but not enough to pay the bills).

blew up my life and feel correct!

To be fair, they really needed that federal funding because they only charge $71,000 a year to more than 35,000 students.
Wow. Had not realized that Columbia’s settlement with Trump admin included a commitment to decrease international student enrollment. In what way does this help “combat antisemitism,” which is supposedly the administration’s objective?

I can't recommend The Doll (1919, dir. Ernst Lubitsch) highly enough. It's an hour of constant jokes, excellent performances, and amazing social commentary with in the silliest possible delivery. I laughed out loud throughout. It's silent so YES you have to read, but it is SO GOOD! And it's on YT!

For all the MAGA folks who scream about free speech whenever they get kicked out of a Dunkin Donuts for being racist to the cashier, THIS is what a violation of free speech actually looks like.
I think you should be able to say things the president doesn’t like and still be a citizen. Maybe we should write that down somewhere.
