Chicago just went all in on renewable energy and is demonstrating that it works. Chicago now powers EVERY city-owned building – from airports to police stations – with renewable energy. That includes O’Hare airport.

‼️New study from my lab: proud to share not one but two Bloomberg articles covering our new report on Chinese outbound FDI. We spent the summer painstakingly coding investment across the global south. The results are striking:

Please support TX House Democrats as they deny a quorum to the GOP in order to stop a mid-decade partisan gerrymander of the state at Trump's demand.

1/Blockbuster ruling by Court of International Trade nullifying reciprocal tariffs and trafficking tariffs. It also severely handicaps attempts to reimpose. The Court in no uncertain terms rejects national security justification (something courts rarely do).

I am feeling this hard. @dandrezner.bsky.social sums up the hits to US society (Medicaid cuts) US innovation (attack on Universities) and US credibility (South Africa state visit). Don’t look away. Mobilize. Thanks @dandrezner.bsky.social for keeping the headlines alive.

Trump has handed a free gift to Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Tsinghua, Sciences Po and many other universities who will gladly enroll the tuition-paying foreign students who hoped to study in the US and are now barred. No surer way to make America weaker, poorer, and less influential abroad.
