The problem with UBI is not how poor people would behave.
It's how rich people would behave.
Way too many would see everyone (inc them) having that income as a reason to raise their rent they charge and/or lower the wages they pay.
We need to solve the problem of rich greed.

Bison live in a matriarchal society. Grandmother leads the herd with the dominant bull tagging along, and generations follow. In this case she's leading her flock up through Lamar Canyon, by far the easiest route is the road so, traffic will just have to wait.
