It’s taken less than a year of Trump being in office for Republicans to embrace being openly racist as policy and as a party.
Fine: "I'm talking to my colleagues about whether we want these fake Somali refugees - who come to our country, add no value, suck our resources, defraud our govt - whether we actually want them here. I don't think Ilhan Omar shouldn't be a member of Congress - I think she shouldn't be an American"

Thanks to Timothy for posting this. I watched it and you should too. The people that worked on and produced this segment should be commended. That was outstanding journalism and only a grifting fascist-leaning "free-speech" bro would disagree.

Relaxing this evening and threw on Game 1 of the '96 NBA Finals. I had the auto-gen subtitles on at first for some reason, but when Detlef Schrempf was mentioned, in its infinite wisdom the subtitles displayed "Deadlift Shrimp"...

Yes, I chuckled.

Of all the "I'll take things that never happened for $500, Alex" moments/things I've heard, this takes the cake. Not to even mention these guys' odd and disturbing obsession with the genitals of children.
Dr Oz: "We're announcing a notice of proposed rule-making that ends -- ends -- taxpayer funding of sex rejecting procedures for children in Medicaid and CHIP, full stop.

Sometimes when champions fall, it's a hard crash. And that's what happened to the Chiefs this season. It was an incredible 10-year run, especially given how hard the NFL makes it on really good teams.

Misogyny and racism put people's safety at risk and don't lower the cost of living for anyone.

Every Trump rally is a Klan rally.
Trump: "Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is. With her little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch ... we ought to get her the hell out ... she's here illegally."

The crowd in Pennsylvania then starts chanting "send her back!"

A lot of data? You mean all that hot air from your ass? That's not data. That's hot air and a smokescreen for all the bullshit that's been happening that is screwing over the middle and lower classes of this country. The majority of Americans could give a shit about the "trade deficit."
CNN: What do you say to Americans who feel the president overpromised and underdelivered on the economy when he campaigned on "I alone can fix it"?

REP. DAN MEUSER: Look, there's a lot data showing wages have increased more than inflation this year, so that certainly addresses affordability

This could just be a whole lot of blah-blah, but I can't help but wonder if the fact that this Chiefs team has played so far into January and February going back every year for several years is, from a mental standpoint as much as a physical one, is catching up to them.

Seeing this gives me no satisfaction whatsoever. If anything it aggravates me more that these voters were completely blind to what was coming. What the Trumpublicans have been doing since Inauguration Day is everything they said they would do since before the 2022 midterms.
Pollster: Trump's net approval rating among voters under the age of 30 is going into a deep, dark black hole. Look at that, -46. That is a shift on the net approval of 56 points in the wrong direction since February. We almost never see drops this big, this quickly.

It is quite fitting and entirely unsurprising that FIFA, an organization resting comfortably on billions of dollars made on the backs of third-world laborers, and one that has its own distinct and vast history of corruption and grifting, would hand Trump a "peace prize" award.

Fear-mongering. Straight out of the modern GOP playbook. Because after all...

Fear, fear drives the mills of modern man
Fear keeps us all in line
Fear of all those foreigners
Fear of all their crimes

I concur, and will add that it's not that hard to make a turkey incredibly tasty and moist. I'm an amateur cook at best, and can produce an outstanding turkey with a handful of basic ingredients.
"If it takes so much effort to make it tasty, doesn’t that mean the food in question is not actually that good? Why not go with something that takes minimal effort to produce near-perfect results every time? I reject this objection."
