Relaxing this evening and threw on Game 1 of the '96 NBA Finals. I had the auto-gen subtitles on at first for some reason, but when Detlef Schrempf was mentioned, in its infinite wisdom the subtitles displayed "Deadlift Shrimp"...

Sometimes when champions fall, it's a hard crash. And that's what happened to the Chiefs this season. It was an incredible 10-year run, especially given how hard the NFL makes it on really good teams.

This could just be a whole lot of blah-blah, but I can't help but wonder if the fact that this Chiefs team has played so far into January and February going back every year for several years is, from a mental standpoint as much as a physical one, is catching up to them.

Seeing this gives me no satisfaction whatsoever. If anything it aggravates me more that these voters were completely blind to what was coming. What the Trumpublicans have been doing since Inauguration Day is everything they said they would do since before the 2022 midterms.
Pollster: Trump's net approval rating among voters under the age of 30 is going into a deep, dark black hole. Look at that, -46. That is a shift on the net approval of 56 points in the wrong direction since February. We almost never see drops this big, this quickly.

It is quite fitting and entirely unsurprising that FIFA, an organization resting comfortably on billions of dollars made on the backs of third-world laborers, and one that has its own distinct and vast history of corruption and grifting, would hand Trump a "peace prize" award.

I concur, and will add that it's not that hard to make a turkey incredibly tasty and moist. I'm an amateur cook at best, and can produce an outstanding turkey with a handful of basic ingredients.

I concur, and will add that it's not that hard to make a turkey incredibly tasty and moist. I'm an amateur cook at best, and can produce an outstanding turkey with a handful of basic ingredients.
