I haven't seen a game so warped by refereeing since Forest away in the Championship. Anything that happened after the penalty that was ludicrously not given is null and void. Andy Madley, the linesman on that side and the VAR officials should never be allowed to officiate again.

Miley is the real deal. Deserved #nufc win I think.

Pathetic nufc performance. Would any other Champions League team set up to play in such a timid way against a newly promoted side?

Gordon and Elanga not doing anything to justify their selection ahead of Barnes.

This does feel like a major crossing of the Rubicon – the world's best-funded and in many ways most powerful public health agency is now actively pushing disinformation.

I know there's a *lot* going on to care about at the moment, but this one really is significant, and matters well beyond the US.
The CDC website now disseminates disinformation about vaccines, claiming erroneously that infant vaccines might cause autism, when we know conclusively that they do not. It is difficult to overstate just how dangerous this is. www.cdc.gov/vaccine-safe...

We are so far through the looking glass that the man who tried to overthrow an election becomes president, the people who attacked the Capitol are turned into martyrs, & it's the BBC that gets punished - cheered on by the worst news outlets in the UK & the two most dishonest politicians of our age.
It’s not at all clear to me how the BBC can do any kind of serious journalism if its top two bosses can be forced to quit over such an obviously confected scandal. There is no substantive error here. How can the BBC report on Trump, or Farage, or anyone else, in these circumstances?

A scrappy performance, but good #nufc win that puts us in a strong position in the Champions League. Joelinton had his best game this season.

Worst #nufc performance for a very long time. It's hard to see where an away win is going to come from.

Dreadful performance so far #nufc Thiaw and Murphy aside

The lack of consistency this season is really starting to annoy me. There's no excuse for it.

Great win #nufc and a privilege to see an incredible Sandro Tonali performance at SJP tonight.

A night that will go down in #nufc folklore I think - Pope's throw, brilliant third goal. Excellent performance from the entire team, but Gordon was particularly outstanding.

Becky Langley has been a transformative figure as #NUFC women’s head coach. From juggling 2 jobs, players paying to play, washing the team’s kit at night, eating at 11pm, to back to back promotions, going full-time, Becky has overseen huge change & brought huge success to the club. A history-maker.

Back to back #nufc wins. Feels like our season is off and running now.

We can't throw away games like that if we want to requalify for the CL. We must win the next 2 games now or it's a poor start to the season. Hope Tino injury is better than it looks #nufc

Another scandal that should be the end of Reform but will be ignored unless we make a lot of noise about it.

Okay point for #nufc I suppose, although I found the lack of ambition a bit disappointing. Woltemade linked up well with Murphy and should have had a penalty. Thiaw was lucky not to get sent off, but had a good full debut otherwise.

Good #nufc performance overall, but didn't quite show enough attacking quality. Definitely a game where we would've benefited from Wissa being in the side. Thought Trippier, Tino, Tonali and Elanga were excellent though.

So let's dive in - what would George Orwell think about Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk? 🧵
