Musk was probably hoping this would happen slower so he'd have time to reroute government subsidies and contracts from Tesla to SpaceX and Starlink, but after his Nazi salutes, Trump's tariffs and the withdrawal of US help to Ukraine things are now moving really fast, and Musk's brands are toxic.
