i’m straight so i can’t use this but i feel like queer people need to just start calling this “gay” ironically to help fix our society
Guys, I’m hearing 6'5 Australian TERA-CHAD Androgenic has flown to U.S and BONESMASHMAXXED in order to HUNT down the ASU frat leader and engage in a MOG-OFF to avenge Clavicular after the
BRUTAL frame mog incident that took place last week.

It pays dividends at scale! Jersey City and Hoboken (NJ) credit hardened daylighting with much of their success in reaching Vision Zero in recent years:
A New Jersey city that limited street parking hasn’t had a traffic death in 7 years

i don't really have the ability to "crush" on fictional characters in any meaningful way but the way they wrote aerith's personality in ff7 remake/rebirth is so amazing especially compared to the original game. they really took the seeds of a character and made her into someone who seems real

Bizarre that a 27 year old woman was killed in the heart of the city last night and it isn't even above the fold on the Seattle Times website the following morning. The only story about it is a brief couple of paragraphs from last night. www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news...

If a 27 year old woman was randomly killed on the streets of Capitol Hill by *anything* other than a motor vehicle it would be all over the front pages this morning. Cars are the thing that make me fear the most for my safety in this city and yet this is how the local paper of record responds.

FFS, it's beyond time to shut down streets in our urban core.
The person hit by a driver at Bellevue and Pine earlier tonight has died, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Seattle Fire is currently responding to a driver hitting someone walking at Bellevue Ave and E Pine St.

It's kind of funny how Hayek's (mostly correct) argument against central planning because concentrating that much economic power in one place inevitably lead to totalitarian behavior is also a pretty strong argument against like, extreme concentrations of wealth and market power
pretty stunning chart

While my time as Support Lead at 505 Games has come to a close after 5 years, excited to be moving to Tokyo later this week. My apologies for the lack of video projects as I’ve had a lot of moving parts in the background but excited to get back on it.

if hasan campaigned for a 3rd party candidate in 2028, i think that would basically make me see him as a hack – much like how i saw kshama sawant after she campaigned for stein in michigan. but him openly admitting he wont vote for newsom is a far, far cry from that; and substantially different!
hasan could vote for mickey mouse for all i care, the state of california is going to the democratic nominee.

we can mince over his potential influence in hypothetical outcomes, but his actual voting power in the presidential race here is literally next to zero.

Based on the evidence, there are plenty of people willing to knowingly turn over all thinking tasks to ai. They're informed. They simply don't care.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
