last thing but wont spam that post, but u can change shaders in ur presets! u can make ur own! u can even make ur own LUTs! ive done that for several of my private sets bc i wanted ones that suited lola and sokyra respectively and didnt personally vibe with any out there.

also, u can stretch out anything. and i mean anything. to get what u need. this gpose for example, i wanted smth that resembled an "ice pick" but ofc there arent props for that. so i used a whm scepter and scaled it suuuuper thin (ignore his ear holes those arent important)

not sure how "good" this tip may be, but depending on the shot, u dont need to worry if all ur bones are posed anatomically correctly if no one is going to see it. take this pixar animation for example. stretching parts of the body like playdough is ok if it helps to get the desired outcome.

the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

this is extra true when grifting and right-wing views enter the sphere too, and ties in with my thread venting about FFXIV community "opinions" and treating Dawntrail as the worst expansion ever after alot of people took their opinions from racists and transphobes that completely poisoned the well
One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.
