Love being an autistic extrovert in the club. I'm sitting ✨adjacent✨ to my friends, silently, Loops in, drinking my corona. I can't hear anything anyways and I'm incredibly overstimulated, there's so many lights and so much bass, multiple drinks spilled on me but I'm enjoying myself 🫠🩷

Sometimes I think I'm overdue for a little crash out, a little mental breakdown, and then I remember I'm currently unmedicated and maybe I should wait till I get back on Zoloft. Crashing out is a lot harder when the bookends of your emotional range are 10% what they would normally be.

I can be normal. That's a thing I can definitely do. I am a person with a normal level of human emotions who doesn't overreact. My mother showed me, through example, how to be just a regular human person. Y'know what? Dad too. Both parents showed me healthy emotional regulation.
