cosplay is yet another of those things that to us in the loop is obviously just dressing up as characters because it's fun, but to the average conservative is a sex thing because their only exposure is cosplay porn

This kind of thing is so… baffling to me. It’s an algorithmic problem with Reddit but it’s also just frustrating that cosplay is seen as inherently sexual or a pipeline to pornography, AND held to a double standard that illustrated fanart isn’t.
