Made for an antiparty fight that will hopefully destroy my players. Despite all of the other existing characters in the fight being associated with the Red Mantis Assassins, none of them bore the iconic helmet that the organization is known for, so I chose to work it into the character’s anatomy.

Diverted from the original prompt to design an enemy for an upcoming Pathfinder module finale I’m homebrewing since my players have chosen to Coup. This is the second time I have actively tried to emulate the rendering style of one of Paizo’s Pathfinder products in an effort to gaslight my players.

please please be more passionate about what you like and create. i cannot count how many times i have seen people reflect on old art they made or interests they had and call it "cringe" so they can make fun of themselves and hope that instead of being laughed at, they can laugh with everyone.

1. FREE SPRITE SIZE. Ideally, but not necessarily, from 64x48px up is perfect.
2. FREE PALETTE, but it should also contain the colours of the Palestinian flag below!
3. You can do anything from boats to ships, rafts and even airships, spaceships and, why not, sea animals and mythological creatures! The view is top-down (classic Zelda or Pokémon style), with the ship’s prow (or sprite’s direction!) facing East.
It can be slightly tilted of course, but we all sail towards East. Light source is the rising sun, so top-right of the screen!
4. You can put everything aboard, from food to toys, books, characters, even yourself. NO violence, NO weapons!
5. No deadlines! Lifelines only: as more boats join the pixel flotilla, we update our patchwork with each entry!

This leads to much less consistent results than their Wisp rivals when it comes to leading travelers however, often spooking or luring humans down paths that the Beckon did not intend. It because of these inadequacies that few can agree on whether Beckon are truly malevolent or friendly in nature.

The Beckon are a musical race of miscreants that inhabit untended places, born from musical instruments that have become possessed by the lingering spiritual energies found in deserted shrines.Beckon use their metallic bodies to clink and chime, emulating sounds uncommon to the terrains they haunt.
