None of this is normal. Why are we putting up with this?
Yes, the president of the United States endorsed hanging senators and representatives.

This is just a reminder that none of this is normal. Our government is a cluster and our freedoms are being taken away. It's ok to think this sucks.
Because it does.

This is not normal folks. They're only going to get worse.
“What began seemingly as a putative crackdown on so-called ‘criminal’ immigrants, the ‘worst of the worst,’ has revealed itself to be exactly what it is: a brazen attempt to instill fear in and demand obedience of all Americans.”
What's unfolding in cities is 'terrifying escalation' of what we saw in 1968 Chicago
The action of federal government agents at Donald Trump’s direction demonstrates all too clearly that what his administration really wants is to intimidate American cities.

Here's your reminder that masked agents kidnapping people off the streets is not normal. U.S. leaders threatening freedom of speech is not normal. None of this is normal. Let's not get used to this, OK?

Did you know other states create bills that solve actual problems within that state? In Ohio, the republican-controlled legislature only proposes bills that cause more problems.

NYT found the “big beautiful bill” would be the largest transfer from the poor to the rich in a single law since at least 1990.

In fact, it would be the largest transfer *ever.*

Reagan’s low-income cuts were MUCH smaller - and his tax cuts were done separately. And before him, nothing comes close.

Of course they arrested the people there to speak against Medicaid cuts. Freedom of speech only counts when it comes to orange men with mashed potato brains.
Within the first few minutes of Tuesday’s House Committee on Energy and Commerce hearing on planned Republican Medicaid cuts—which would render more than 8 million Americans uninsured—a contingent of protesters entered the room in Washington. Here is what happened⬇️

I scanned dozens of newspapers from around the U.S. & world. On average, international newspapers cover the widespread protests against Trump/Musk and for democracy much more prominently on their covers than those in the U.S.
This isn’t due to deadlines, protests were daytime in the U.S. #handsoff
