Kids have always been into comics, just not the collector's comics. If you look outside of The Big Two, comics have been healthy all along.
This video's focused on Bone and doesn't cover manga but Scholastic, Candlewick, Darrington, etc have been pretty steady, considering.

Kids have always been into comics, just not the collector's comics. If you look outside of The Big Two, comics have been healthy all along.
