This was such a valuable realization! When I discovered it was PTSD holding my shitshow of executive functioning together, let me tell you…nothing happened (because honestly? I keep forgetting and need to be reminded and also, I can’t get anything done!)
That said, you mentioning ‘harnessing anxiety to counter the adhd’ blew my mind and clued me in on a way I’d been covering my weaknesses.
