PSA: if you get a random message that's like "oh no, I accidentally reported ur account, can I talk 2 u about it on [OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA]?" DO NOT REPLY. that is a SCAM that's been going around. happened to me a couple weeks ago - lost access to my acct and had to get a new debit card and it SUCKED 🫠

"Death of the Author" doesn't mean separating the author's bad behaviour from their art. It means taking away their authority and allowing readers to interpret the art based on their own perspectives. It doesn't absolve the author of being a bastard, in fact it may inform how you interpret the art.

When approaching Lucifer I wanted to lean into the Fallen Angel side of him. He wasn't a bad guy, he was a dreamer who fell in love and defied an unjust system. He isn't a tyrannical evil ruler, he's a cosmic being trapped in what is considered his greatest mistake. He was beautiful and prideful!

It should go without saying this limitation has wider reaching implications and it is NOT the last time it's relevant, but I found this a much more interesting thing to explore. Lucifer has no reason to care about his kingdom, he cares about his family, and his hellborns and that's about it. lol
