Sometimes people defend police brutality by saying shit like "Oh, so you think cops should just have to put up with disrespect?" And it's like, yeah, insofar as they shouldn't be able to beat or murder people in response, yes. Everyone has to do that.

My resolution for year 2026 of the "Common Era" is to display nothing but open derision for the idea that right-wing Christians are somehow not Christians.
