One of the things this book did was made me conscious of the fact that I now always read author's notes, afterwords, dedications and anything else that adds context to a work. I had to reread the epilogue after those final words. Impactful, stunning, haunting, gorgeous.

Sex can radically change a mood that day or that week and potentially make someone reassess a relationship with a whole other person! And how the sex goes can alter the mood and direction of things going forward!!! I dunno man! You can do a lot with sex, narratively, I think!
