Back at the wonderful Pianodrome and sketching a phenomenal trio of young jazz musicians, I gotta admit, I found it really hard to find my groove and sketch anything that caught the magic in the amphitheatre.

Today, I went to the Pianodrome in Bruntsfield to sit and listen and sketch. Today's musician was Adam Muir, a wonderfully versatile pianist. I used charcoal and chalk to work in quick expressive lines that captured the energetic and varied repertoire.
